Performance of Top Sandbox-like Games in Portugal Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the top sandbox-like games in Portugal showed varied performance trends across key metrics such as downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the quarterly journey of these popular apps.

Roblox by Roblox Corporation experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting from around $69.6K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately $28.3K by the end. Its weekly downloads also decreased, beginning with 16.5K and ending at 8.4K. However, active users showed a resurgence, climbing from 487.4K to 497.1K towards the end of March.

One State RP: Role Play Online from CHILLBASE LTD saw a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at $6.5K at the end of March. Downloads varied, reaching a high of 4.2K in mid-March, while active users witnessed a steady rise, starting at 1.9K and peaking at 3.4K in mid-March.

Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! by Mojang showed a slight increase in revenue, closing the quarter at around $5.3K. Downloads remained stable, hovering around 200 each week. Active users saw a decrease from 4.5K to 3.4K by the end of the quarter.

PK XD: Fun, friends & games by Afterverse Games experienced a dip in revenue, with an average of about $1K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a peak of 5K at the start but settled at 2.7K by March's end. Active users fluctuated, ending at approximately 5.7K.

IMVU: Fun 3D Avatar Chat Game from IMVU recorded a consistent revenue trend, averaging around $900 weekly. Downloads peaked at 2.7K in mid-January, while active users increased slightly, ending the quarter at 3.1K.
